Our Impact
EERC is leveraging evidence-based research to promote innovative approaches in agriculture and environmental management to address incidence of food insecurity, malnutrition, hunger, and poverty in Africa
Over the years EERC has supported the capacity building of young researchers, government workers, development actors primarily for the development of agriculture and economic activities of smallholder farmers across the West and Southern African with plans to extend to other regions in Africa.
What we do
Environmental conservation, and management is central to achieving agricultural productivity, food security and sustainable livelihood. Numerous environmental challenges ranging from climate change, ecosystem degradation, to land use change are currently affecting lives and income of millions of individual, especially the rural farm households.
