After a series of engagements and interactions with different stakeholders in Adamawa states, a “State Policy Dialogue And Co-Creation Workshop” was organised by the Adamawa State Planning Commission (ASPC) in partnership with the Environmental and Economic Resource Centre (EERC) on Mar 14, 2024. Adamawa State Planning Commission (ASPC) is the Adamawa State government parastatal saddled with the responsibility of coordinating policy development discussions in the state The Policy Dialogue event had participants from various ministries, agencies, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), farmers, leaders of the People Living With Disability (PWD), leaders of market women associations, religious leaders, and other pertinent stakeholders. The primary aim of the workshop was to streamline the integration of the existing National Climate Change Policy (NCCP) and the adaptation of the climate change policy documents specific to Adamawa State.
