In June 2024, the Environmental & Economic Resource Centre (EERC), in collaboration with the Gombe State Ministry of Water, Environment and Forest Resources, organized the highly anticipated flagging-off of an agroforestry project in the state. This marked the commencement of planting 30,000 economic tree seedlings across various communities of interest. The event was graced by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Danladi Adamu, representing the Honorable Commissioner, as well as the Director of Forestry, Mr. Inuwa Bagale and representatives from Mercy Corps.
